About the role
Targeted at IT students from MCAST, to support the development of digital tools for our Group NPD function. The apprentice will work closely with the team to design, build, and maintain solutions using Microsoft 365 applications such as PowerApps, SharePoint, Dataverse, and Planner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and customizing PowerApps applications to support NPD workflows.
- Support SharePoint site creation, customization, and content management.
- Work with Dataverse for data storage, integration, and reporting.
- Help automate and streamline tasks using Microsoft 365 tools (e.g., Power Automate, Planner).
- Contribute to improvements in collaboration and information-sharing systems.
Technical Skills (beneficial but not required):
- Power Fx (PowerApps formulas)
- JSON
- Basic JavaScript/HTML for SharePoint customization
- SQL or similar for Dataverse data handling
This is an excellent learning opportunity for an MCAST student interested in applied IT, digital transformation, and Microsoft 365 development as well as interesting other skills related to product development, manufacturing, design and prototyping.
