<p>The Women in Sports Filmmaking Experienceship is an immersive professional development program created to identify, support, and elevate experienced cinematographers and production professionals who have a demonstrated commitment to women in sports and content production and who are already working in sports and documentary filmmaking.</p> <p>Designed for seasoned talent looking to expand their opportunities within the sports production industry, the program offers unparalleled access to the creative, technical, and operational approach that defines NFL Films.</p> <p>Participants will work alongside NFL Films cinematographers, producers, and creative leaders while gaining firsthand exposure to the visual storytelling techniques, production workflows, and collaborative culture unique to NFL Films.</p> <p>The Experienceship will take place in Mount Laurel, New Jersey from Wednesday, August 26^th&nbsp;– Friday, August 28^th.&nbsp; Applicants must be available for the full duration of the program.</p> <h2>Program Highlights</h2> <p>Participants will take part in a multi-day immersive experience that includes:</p> <ul> <li>Advanced cinematography workshops focused on visual storytelling, camera movement, long-lens operation, live-action sports coverage, documentary-style shooting, and field production techniques.</li> <li>Technical demonstrations and hands-on sessions featuring industry-standard cinema cameras, lenses, specialty support systems, and lighting equipment utilized by NFL Films.</li> <li>Networking opportunities with NFL Films executives, producers, directors, cinematographers, and technical staff.</li> <li>Real-world production environments and on-field shooting opportunities designed to simulate the pace and demands of professional sports filmmaking.</li> <li>Collaborative sessions focused on career growth, leadership, production workflow, and navigating opportunities within sports media and filmmaking.</li> </ul> <h2>Qualifications</h2> <p>Qualified candidates should possess:</p> <ul> <li>5–7 years of experience operating in live sports, documentary, broadcast, commercial, or unscripted production environments.</li> <li>A professional DP reel, portfolio, or body of work that demonstrates technical ability and storytelling experience.</li> <li>A demonstrated commitment to women in sports and/or content production</li> <li>Strong understanding of lighting and grip workflows.</li> <li>Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.</li> <li>Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced production settings.</li> <li>Strong AC-level working knowledge of professional cinema cameras, lenses, and camera support systems.</li> </ul> <h2>Preferred Experience</h2> <p>Ideal candidates will have:</p> <ul> <li>Experience working on professional, collegiate, documentary, broadcast, branded, or live-event Football productions.</li> <li>Experience operating high-end digital cinema camera systems.</li> <li>Experience working as a Director of Photography/Cinematography on professional Sports productions preferred.</li> </ul> <ul> <li>Steadicam Certification.</li> <li>DJI Ronin Experience.</li> <li>Robotic Camera Operation Experience.</li> </ul> <h2>Travel &amp; Accommodations</h2> <ul> <li>NFL Films will accommodate travel to Mount Laurel, New Jersey on the morning of Tuesday, August 25th and depart on the morning of Saturday, August 29th.</li> <li>Lodging and meals during the program will be provided by NFL Films.</li> <li>Participants must be fully available for the entirety of the Experienceship.</li> </ul> <h2>About NFL Films</h2> <p>For more than six decades, NFL Films has set the standard for cinematic sports storytelling, combining technical innovation with compelling human stories to capture the emotion, intensity, and culture of the game.</p> <p>The Women in Sports Filmmaking Experienceship reflects NFL Films’ commitment to fostering opportunities across the sports production industry.</p> <div class="job-details__description-content basic-formatter" data-bind="html: pageData().job.description"> <h3>Terms / Expected Hours of Work:</h3> <ul> <li>Unpaid Experienceship</li> </ul> </div>
