If you believe in the power of individualized instruction and you're committed to helping students with disabilities achieve their IEP goals — this is your classroom.</p> <p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p> <ul> <li>Deliver specialized instruction to students with IEPs aligned with NHS Common Core standards</li> <li>Maintain current NHS Special Education licensure and all required DOE clearances</li> <li>Collaborate with related service providers, families, and administrators on IEP goals</li> <li>Collect and analyze student progress data and adjust instruction accordingly</li> <li>Create an inclusive, engaging, and supportive classroom environment</li> </ul> <p><strong>&nbsp;SKILLS</strong></p> <ul> <li>Active NHS Special Education teaching license and current DOE clearances (PETS, fingerprinting</li> <li>Experience teaching in a self-contained or integrated co-teaching classroom</li> <li>Experience writing and implementing IEPs with multidisciplinary teams</li> <li>Strong classroom management and differentiated instruction skills</li> <li>Passion for supporting students with autism and other developmental disabilities</li> </ul> <p><strong>&nbsp;WHAT SETS YOU APART?</strong></p> <p>You see the potential in every student — even when others have given up.
