Job Details
This Nurse Manager is responsible for the daily clinical operations of the Emergency Department.
Our Nurse Manager will:
- Provide for leadership and direction of the patient care units, providing oversight for the standard of practice utilized in their patient care areas.
- Have shift responsibility for the fiscal and operational aspects of their patient care units in coordination with the Director of Nursing.
- Share responsibility for meeting regulatory agency requirements.
- Mentor, supervise, and evaluate the team to reach their full potential and inspire continual professional growth
- Participate in managing budgets, resource allocation, and scheduling
- Regularly assess unit operations and identify process improvements to enhance the patient experience
What you’ll bring:
- Passion for Emergency Nursing
- 2-5+ Years of recent clinical RN experience working in an Emergency Department setting
- Previous leadership experience
- Regulatory knowledge
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degreeMaster of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree preferred
- Licensure: New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration
- Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), & Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required
Posted Salary Range
USD $150,000.00 - USD $160,000.00 /Yr.This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
