About the role
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span data-contrast="auto">Liquid Personnel is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join their remote assessment service. You will triage new referrals, complete telephone/video assessments, prescribe equipment and minor adaptations, and contribute to prevention‑focused work across Adult Social Care. This is a fast‑paced role requiring strong clinical reasoning, risk management, and digital communication skills.</span></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong><span data-contrast="auto">What will your responsibilities be?</span></strong><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":false,"134233118":false,"335559738":0,"335559739":0}"> </span></p>
<ul style="text-align: justify;">
<li>Review referral information to identify priority, risk, and required OT intervention.</li>
<li>Carry out remote assessments via telephone and video call.</li>
<li>Provide preventative advice, guidance, and problem‑solving support to adults, carers, and professionals.</li>
<li>Escalate safeguarding concerns in line with statutory procedures.</li>
<li>Apply strong functional questioning and clinical reasoning to assess needs remotely.</li>
<li>Prescribe standard equipment and minor adaptations in accordance with service guidelines.</li>
<li>Make defensible, evidence‑based clinical decisions that reflect risk, strengths, and need.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate and timely case records.</li>
<li>Contribute to prevention-focused work, including equipment reviews, moving & handling advice, and self‑management strategies.</li>
<li>Work collaboratively with community health, housing, social work, reablement, voluntary sector teams, and safeguarding partners.</li>
<li>Participate in supervision, MDT meetings, training, and service‑development activities.</li>
<li>Promote a solution‑focused and strengths‑based culture. </li>
</ul>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong><span data-contrast="auto">Qualifications & Experience:</span></strong><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":false,"134233118":false,"335559738":0,"335559739":0}"> </span></p>
<ul style="text-align: justify;">
<li>Experience working in Adult Social Care, community OT, hospital discharge, reablement, or similar settings (Essential).</li>
<li>Experience managing complex cases and risk in fast‑paced environments (Essential).</li>
<li>Experience completing remote assessments (Desirable).</li>
</ul>
