<p>Liquid Personnel is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to deliver high‑quality, creative, and strength‑based interventions within the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea. The role involves supporting adults with complex needs through assessments, major adaptations, and equipment recommendations, enabling service users to maintain independence and safety within the community.</p>

<p><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":false,"134233118":false,"335559738":0,"335559739":0}"><strong>Assessment & Intervention:</strong></span></p>
<ul>
<li>Use a strength-based approach to complete assessments and develop OT support plans.</li>
<li>Work creatively to meet service users’ functional, environmental, and health needs.</li>
<li>Conduct complex moving and handling assessments.</li>
<li>Advise on daily living challenges and community services (LD, Mental Health, Primary Care).</li>
<li>Implement risk reduction strategies via equipment, techniques, or technology.</li>
<li>Recommend and order appropriate and cost-effective equipment and major/minor adaptations.</li>
<li>Provide demonstrations and training to service users, families, and carers on equipment use.</li>
<li>Keep up to date with new assistive technology and equipment developments.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":false,"134233118":false,"335559738":0,"335559739":0}">Professional Standards & Service Delivery:</span></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Adhere to HCPC standards and RBKC OT service policies.</li>
<li>Maintain high-quality professional documentation and concise records.</li>
<li>Work collaboratively with health and community agencies to ensure continuity of care.</li>
<li>Contribute to departmental policies, service improvements, and project work.</li>
<li>Achieve required performance targets and meet deadlines.</li>
</ul>
<p><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":false,"134233118":false,"335559738":0,"335559739":0}"> <strong>Supervision & Team Contribution:</strong></span></p>
<ul>
<li>Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants and OT Students when required.</li>
<li>Share new knowledge and training insights with the team.</li>
<li>Represent the OT service at internal/external meetings or working groups.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong><span data-contrast="auto">Professional Development: </span></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Identify training needs and attend internal/external CPD opportunities.</li>
<li>Maintain development logs and support learning across the team.</li>
<li>Stay current with updates in OT practice, legislation, and social care provision.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong><span data-contrast="auto">IT/ System:</span></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Use relevant IT systems including:
<ul>
<li>Personal Index</li>
<li>Email (Lotus Notes/Outlook)</li>
<li>Word / PowerPoint</li>
<li>Intranet / Internet</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Complete mandatory digital training as required.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong><span data-contrast="auto">Requirements:</span></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist</li>
<li>Experience with:
<ul>
<li>Complex moving & handling cases</li>
<li>Major home adaptations (DFG knowledge beneficial)</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Strong community-based assessment experience</li>
<li>Excellent communication and clinical reasoning abilities</li>
</ul>
