Ageing Well Service
Part Time (0.8 FTE) | Fixed Term until 30 June 2028
Richmond, Melbourne
About the role
As an Occupational Therapist within our Ageing Well Service, you will provide evidence-based assessment and intervention to older adults living in the community. Working from a strengths-based and person-centred approach, you will support clients to achieve their goals, maximise independence and remain safely engaged in everyday activities.
Your work will include:
Comprehensive occupational therapy assessments
Assistive technology prescription and recommendations
Home modification assessments and referrals
Development and implementation of goal-directed care plans
Working collaboratively with carers, families and support services
Participation in multidisciplinary care and service planning
You will join a welcoming and experienced Allied Health team that values learning, collaboration and continuous improvement.
About you
You are a motivated Occupational Therapist who is passionate about community health and supporting older adults to live well.
You will bring:
A Bachelor degree in Occupational Therapy
Current registration with AHPRA
At least 2 years' experience working as an Occupational Therapist
A current driver's licence
Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills
A commitment to evidence-based practice
An interest in working with older adults and vulnerable communities
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
