<p>Liquid Personnel is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to provide short-term cover within the Reablement Team in Southampton.<br>This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver high-quality, person-centred occupational therapy services to adults with care and support needs, supporting their independence and wellbeing in the community.<br>You will play a key role in assessments, care planning, and interventions that enable individuals to live more independently, while working closely with colleagues across health and social care.</p>

<p><strong><span data-contrast="auto">What will your responsibilities be?</span></strong><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":false,"134233118":false,"335559738":0,"335559739":0}"> </span></p>
<ul>
<li>Undertake occupational therapy assessments, care planning, and reviews to promote independence and daily living skills</li>
<li>Advise, teach, and support individuals and carers in overcoming disability and maximising independence</li>
<li>Recommend and provide equipment (standard and specialist) and advise on home adaptations</li>
<li>Liaise with colleagues in health, social care, and partner agencies to ensure coordinated support</li>
<li>Supervise and support OT Assistants and students as required</li>
<li>Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with statutory requirements, professional standards, and Council policies</li>
<li>Commit to safeguarding adults and uphold the Council’s Equality Policy</li>
</ul>
<p><strong><span data-contrast="auto">Qualifications & Experience:</span></strong><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":false,"134233118":false,"335559738":0,"335559739":0}"> </span></p>
<ul>
<li>Diploma or BSc in Occupational Therapy </li>
<li>HCPC Registration</li>
<li>Experience in a health or social care community setting</li>
<li>Ability to manage a demanding caseload, prioritising effectively</li>
<li>Strong communication, assessment, and problem-solving skills</li>
<li>Ability to travel within Southampton</li>
</ul>
