Your main objective will be to ensure compliance with internal policies and AML/KYC requirements, while also identifying opportunities for onboarding process improvement to mitigate compliance risks.</p> <p>The role will support our APAC onboarding requirements and reports to the CEO/Director of Operations.</p> <div class="p-rich_text_section"><strong data-stringify-type="bold">Responsibilities</strong></div> <ul class="p-rich_text_list p-rich_text_list__bullet p-rich_text_list--nested" data-stringify-type="unordered-list" data-list-tree="true" data-indent="0" data-border="0"> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Conduct client due diligence (CDD) and enhanced due diligence (ECDD) in accordance with internal policies, procedures and regulatory guidelines;</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Conduct periodic review based on KYC/KYB CDD guidelines, ensuring timely updates and escalations where required;;</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Provide high-quality customer service by owning, monitoring, and improving customer service, handling customer inquiries, managing communications with customers throughout the entire onboarding process;</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Work closely with internal teams to ensure a cohesive approach to customer onboarding and account administration;</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Participate in internal and external training programs related to AML/CFT and other subjects that may form part of the day to day work requirements;</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Handle ad-hoc tasks assigned by the supervisor</li> </ul> <div class="p-rich_text_section"><strong data-stringify-type="bold">Requirements</strong></div> <ul class="p-rich_text_list p-rich_text_list__bullet p-rich_text_list--nested" data-stringify-type="unordered-list" data-list-tree="true" data-indent="0" data-border="0"> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Minimum bachelor's degree holder</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in a relevant compliance, onboarding, due diligence role, preferably within the financial services or fintech sector</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Good understanding of the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) PSN02 Guidelines, Notice and related laws, directives, regulations and compliance standards</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Familiarity with emerging virtual currency regulatory frameworks in other jurisdictions is a plus</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Strong analytical, communication and documentation skills</li> <li data-stringify-indent="0" data-stringify-border="0">Proficiency in both English and Mandarin, with the ability to review and assess documents in both languages</li> </ul> <p><strong>Why Join BitGo?</strong></p> <p>Disrupting an industry takes vision, innovation, passion, technical chops, drive to deliver, collaboration, and execution.
