Role Overview
We are seeking an Operational Risk professional to support the identification, assessment, and mitigation of operational risks across our fintech operations. The ideal candidate brings a strong risk mindset, understands end‑to‑end operational processes, and has exposure to fintech or banking environments.
This role is suited for early to mid-career professionals (typically aged 25–30 or equivalent experience) who are looking to grow within a fast‑paced, regulated digital financial ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Risk Management
- Identify, assess, and monitor operational risks across products, processes, systems, and third‑party relationships
- Maintain and update Risk & Control Assessments for operations
- Support development and monitoring of Key Risk Indicators (KRIs)
- Track and report operational risk incidents, losses, and near misses
Controls & Process Assurance
- Evaluate effectiveness of operational controls and recommend improvements
- Support implementation of risk mitigation actions in collaboration with Ops, Product, Tech, and Compliance teams
- Assist in reviewing SOPs, workflows, and process changes from a risk perspective
Governance & Reporting
- Prepare regular operational risk reports for management and governance forums
- Support regulatory, internal audit, and external audit requests related to operational risk
- Ensure alignment with internal risk frameworks, policies, and regulatory expectations
Fintech & Ecosystem Risk
Assess risks related to digital products, payments, wallets, APIs, and automation
Monitor third-party and vendor operational risks
Support business continuity, incident response, and operational resilience initiatives
Requirements
- Age range: Typically 25–30 years (or equivalent professional experience)
- 1–3 years of experience in:
- Operational Risk
- Risk Management
- Internal Controls
- Audit or Compliance
- Experience within Fintech, Digital Banking, or Traditional Banking environments
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field
