<div><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">The Operations Assistant will act as a critical shared resource, supporting the organization’s Operations, Facilities, and Human Resource functions. </span></div>

<div><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">This is a part-time role [estimated at 25 hours per week], with the opportunity to become a full-time position beginning in 2027. As the key functions of the role require an in-office presence, candidates must be comfortable working from the company’s Chicago headquarters. </span></div>

<div><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">In person interviews will be scheduled for the week of June 8-12.</span></div>

<div><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><strong>Human Resources:</strong></span></div>
<ul>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Maintain employee records, create documentation and process changes related to hiring, promotions, compensation changes, benefit elections and terminations.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Assist with the recruiting process including posting jobs, scheduling interviews and coordinating onboarding tasks.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Reconcile monthly benefit invoices.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Send employee reminders of company policies and respond to employee inquiries.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Provide support to the Splash (aka Activities) Committee and have an active role in organizing the activities that create an exceptional workplace environment.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Order, manage, distribute and maintain branded collateral (i.e. Company Swag) to employees and new hires.</span></li>

<div><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><strong>Operations/Facilities:</strong></span></div>
<ul>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Assist with company events, both in person and virtually.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Provide a welcoming atmosphere when greeting and directing clients and guests to conference rooms for meetings and events.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Plan, prepare for and support internal and client meetings and events in consultation with leadership, including proficient use of building management software.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Place catering orders and prepare conference rooms for breakfast and lunch meetings and special office and client events.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Checking and distributing mail electronically to recipients.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Distributing packages as they arrive from FedEx/UPS.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Perform daily housekeeping duties to maintain the cleanliness of the café, conference rooms and reception seating area, as well as loading/unloading the dishwasher, monthly cleaning of the refrigerators and maintenance of the coffee machines.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Order and stock the pantry and café with coffee, tea, water, other beverage supplies, and paper products.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Manage building-related issues, forms, and maintenance requests.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Maintain relationships with vendors and building security.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Submit office-related invoices to Finance for processing.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Coordinate travel for certain key employees.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Support team in regular sustainability reporting.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Other duties as assigned.</span></li>

<div><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><strong>Requirements</strong></span></div>
<ul>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Bachelor's Degree in Communications, HR or related field. Work experience in lieu of a degree will be considered.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Proficiency in Excel, including creating and maintaining spreadsheets, using basic formulas, formatting and organizing data.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Ability to learn new systems quickly.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Possess a self-motivated, resourceful, and organized work ethic.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting with a client service focus.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Strong problem-solving and time management skills and with attention to detail and deadlines are a must.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Punctuality and satisfactory attendance are imperative.</span></li>
<li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">Computer literacy in Word and Outlook is required.</span></li>

<p><span style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;">The estimated salary for this position and similar roles Citrus may consider for applicants ranges from $22.00 to $30.00 per hour depending on experience. This is the approximate pay range that Citrus anticipates it will pay for this and similar positions at the time of this posting. Citrus is committed to offering fair and competitive pay for all employees; consistent with applicable law, final compensation will be determined based on the applicant's skills, qualifications, and experience, along with the position's requirements.
