The role is ideal for someone who has graduated university and is interested in learning within the financial services, legal and/or data sectors. It will appeal to an enthusiastic person who has a desire to learn and thrives in a growing, dynamic environment.</p> <p>This is a critical role supporting the coverage of Octus’ Deal Term Analytics product, which is the data backbone of Octus’ covenant analysis services.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Tracking the syndicated loan and high yield bond primary markets using multiple proprietary data feeds</li> <li>Review deal documentation to identify key features&nbsp;</li> <li>Create database records for new transactions</li> <li>Ensuring strict adherence to compliance processes related to private documents</li> <li>Permission entitled clients to private information</li> <li>Maintain records of market coverage</li> <li>Partner with Octus’ covenant operations team and legal analysts to minimize Deal Term Analytics’ time-to-data.</li> <li>Collaborating with commercial team to provide excellent client service</li> <li>Liaising with offshore data team and London/USA teams on workflow and data initiatives, when required</li> <li>Collaborating on, and leading various administrative and operations projects</li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements</strong></p> <ul> <li>Outstanding organizational and time management skills, with excellent attention to detail</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to manage and manipulate large data sets in spreadsheets</li> <li>University degree or equivalent qualification</li> <li>Ability to write professionally in English</li> <li>Interest in financial services and/or legal subjects, and data management</li> <li>Proactive and collaborative team player</li> <li>Ability to prioritize effectively among multiple tasks and work effectively to client deadlines</li> <li>Authorized to work in the country in which the position is based</li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><p><strong>Equal Employment Opportunity</strong></p> <p>Octus is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, colour, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, marital status, pregnancy, veteran status, or any other legally protected status.
