About the role
<p>JOB FUNCTION: The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day warehouse and distribution operations across two buildings located at the same site. This role ensures efficient operations, inventory accuracy, regulatory compliance, and on-time order fulfillment. The Operations Manager drives process improvements, maintains a strong safety culture, and leads cross-functional teams to achieve operational and financial objectives.</p>

<p>JOB DUTIES</p>
<ul>
<li>Oversee daily operations across two on-site warehouse and distribution facilities, including receiving, storage, order picking, packing, and shipping.</li>
<li>Manage the customer service and billing department to enhance order processing, invoicing accuracy, and client satisfaction.</li>
<li>Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness.</li>
<li>Monitor inventory levels, ensure proper stock rotation, and maintain accuracy through cycle counts and audits.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with company policies, workplace health and safety regulations, and industry standards.</li>
<li>Lead, train, and develop warehouse staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.</li>
<li>Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.</li>
<li>Partner with Supply Chain, Sales, and Finance teams to support seamless logistics and customer fulfillment.</li>
<li>Oversee facility maintenance, security, and warehouse equipment to ensure a safe and functional workplace.</li>
<li>Promote a safety-first culture by ensuring adherence to all workplace safety procedures and regulations.</li>

<p>KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:</p>
<ul>
<li>Strong leadership experience managing multi-department operations within warehouse and distribution environments.</li>
<li>Proven ability to oversee operations across multiple facilities or operational areas.</li>
<li>Proficiency in ERP Systems (NetSuite preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite.</li>
<li>Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.</li>
</ul>

<p>EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:</p>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).</li>
<li>10+ years of experience in distribution, logistics, or warehouse management</li>
