About the role
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join a fast-paced Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment. This is a remote position, commencing 1 March 2026, suited to a highly organised and detail-oriented professional with strong operational, billing, and administrative expertise.
Working Hours
• Monday to Friday
• 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM
• 1-hour lunch break
Key Responsibilities
• Oversee and manage daily MSP operations to ensure efficiency, consistency, and service quality
• Coordinate workflows across service desk, projects, and operations teams
• Monitor ticket queues, workloads, KPIs, and SLA compliance
• Manage billing processes, invoicing, reconciliations, and operational reporting
• Assist with budgeting, cost tracking, and financial administration
• Maintain and improve internal processes, SOPs, and documentation
• Support leadership with operational planning, scheduling, and resource management
• Liaise with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery and communication
• Ensure accurate record-keeping and system data integrity
Minimum Requirements
• Previous experience in an Operations Manager role within an MSP or IT services environment
• Billing and accounting experience (essential)
• Strong computer literacy
• High proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams)
• Excellent organisational, communication, and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
Preferred Candidate Profile
• Female candidate
• Aged 35–45 years
• Proven experience in operational and administrative leadership roles
• Confident working with financial data, reports, and systems
Remuneration
• Basic salary: R35,000 – R40,000 per month, dependent on experience
