About the role
<p>Aimé Leon Dore is looking for an Operations Supervisor<strong> </strong>to join our team in Los Angeles, reporting directly to the Store Manager at our LA Flagship. This position will be responsible for supporting our day-to-day business operations of inventory management, retail operations, logistics, and sales operations. The ideal candidate has a keen attention to detail, strong sense of urgency, and ability to balance between multiple functions in a fast-paced environment. </p>
<p> <strong>Duties & Responsibilities</strong> </p>
<ul>
<li><em>Inventory Management:</em> Work closely with Planning team on execution of retail replenishments and send backs, along with ensuring inventory accuracy across LA Flagship and LA Cafe
<ul>
<li>Material management across all retail teams for selling materials and cafe disposables which includes ordering and flagging low materials to proper cross functional departments. </li>
<li>Examine all inventory levels throughout the store to ensure product quantity levels are maintained. </li>
<li>Owns inventory adjustments / accuracy across LA Retail and LA Cafe</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li><em>Operations</em>: Support all retail team requests, prepare teams for launches, perform inventory cycle counts, repairs, and maintain communication between HQ and retail.
<ul>
<li>Ensure proper understanding and execution of all Aimé Leon Dore policies and procedures. </li>
<li>Work with the Store Manager to ensure proper staffing for the day to day BOH operations and planning ahead for operational preparation.</li>
<li>Implement and maintain efficient opening and closing procedures</li>
<li>Support any store maintenance and seasonal retail changes.</li>
<li>Consistently reach and aim to exceed all KPIs</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li><em>Warehouse Communication / Logistics: </em>Maintain communications with our west coast warehouse and ensure replenishments are packed and shipped within SLA.
<ul>
<li>Set up pick up and delivery for shipments as necessary.</li>
<li>Receive delivery as necessary.</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li><em>Retail Training / Continuous Improvement</em>
<ul>
<li>Exhibit a high degree of professional maturity and lead by example</li>
<li>Create team spirit and cultivate an environment where team members are recognized as valued contributors to the overall success of the flagship</li>
<li>Create SOP documents for (receiving, cycle counts etc)</li>
<li>Onboard and train new and existing team members on SOPs, best practices and new practices. </li>
<li>Provide direction to back of house teams on day-to-day operations, bin organization, and planning of inbound products.</li>
<li>Establish clear expectations for BOH team members ensuring all team members are anticipatory to BOH needs, actioning on responsibilities, and effectively communicating. </li>

</ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications</strong> </p>
<ul>
<li> 2-3 + year’s experience in retail, and/or operations</li>
<li>Prior experience working on a growing team</li>
<li>Proficient in Microsoft Suite </li>
<li>Must be anticipatory and take initiative on task management across departments </li>
<li>Ability to take ownership on all duties and responsibilities </li>
<li>Must be organized an illustrate keen attention to detail </li>
</ul>
