Across our network of 12+ global fulfillment centers, we execute daily high-volume e-commerce fulfillment for over 1,500 brands.</p> <p>This is an operational optimization role. Rather than executing a static, corporate-mandated playbook, you will directly influence, test, and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to reduce cycle times, minimize travel waste, and eliminate quality defects on the floor.</p> <h3><strong>The Growth Trajectory</strong></h3> <p>We prioritize internal progression based on measurable output and team development metrics. Supervisors who meet throughput targets and successfully cross-train their teams step directly into Senior Supervisor and Warehouse Manager tracks.</p> <h2><strong>What We Offer</strong></h2> <ul> <li><strong>Unlimited Paid Time Off (PTO)</strong></li> <li><strong>Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits</strong></li> <li><strong>Monthly Performance Bonus Structure</strong> tied directly to department KPI achievements</li> <li><strong>Internal Promotion Pathways</strong> backed by active leadership development</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Key Responsibilities &amp; Daily Deliverables</strong></h2> <ul> <li><strong>Shift Optimization:</strong> Launch daily shifts with structured team huddles to allocate labor, establish production targets, clear backlogs, and enforce safety protocols.</li> <li><strong>Real-Time KPI Management:</strong> Monitor and adjust intra-day labor allocation to meet or exceed throughput, units per hour (UPH), accuracy, and safety benchmarks.</li> <li><strong>Floor Coaching:</strong> Conduct active, real-time performance coaching on the floor to improve individual associate metrics and accelerate onboarding ramp times.</li> <li><strong>Cross-Functional Coordination:</strong> Resolve cross-department bottlenecks immediately to maintain seamless hand-offs between receiving, picking, packing, and shipping.</li> <li><strong>Continuous Improvement (CI):</strong> Analyze daily shift data to identify root causes of operational friction, propose targeted process modifications, and execute approved adjustments.</li> <li><strong>Facility Compliance:</strong> Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety regulations, equipment maintenance schedules, and 5S cleanliness standards.</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Candidate Requirements</strong></h2> <h3><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></h3> <ul> <li><strong>Experience:</strong> Minimum of 2 years of direct supervisory experience leading teams within a warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or logistics environment.</li> <li><strong>Data Literacy:</strong> Experience analyzing operational reports, identifying variances, and executing root-cause analysis.</li> <li><strong>Communication:</strong> Ability to deliver clear performance metrics, operational goals, and actionable feedback to a large team.</li> <li><strong>Availability:</strong> Capability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, or required overtime based on peak volume demands.</li> <li><strong>Physical Demands:</strong> Ability to stand and walk for the duration of a shift and lift up to 50 lbs.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Experience utilizing Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or Inventory Management Software.</li> <li>Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, Engineering, or a related technical field.</li> <li>Military leadership experience (NCO-level or equivalent).</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Definitive Milestones for Success</strong></h2> <h3><strong>First 30 Days</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Complete full onboarding on Pittston's WMS and workflow processes.</li> <li>Map the baseline performance metrics of your 25–30 associate team.</li> <li>Identify and document one specific process bottleneck within your department.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>First 90 Days</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Demonstrate measurable upward trends in your department’s primary KPIs (UPH, accuracy, safety).</li> <li>Standardize and implement at least one approved workflow or layout optimization.</li> <li>Establish clear performance baselines and development targets for all direct reports.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Year One</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Meet or exceed department throughput targets through a peak retail season.</li> <li>Build a self-sustaining shift structure with cross-trained associates qualified for step-up responsibilities.</li> <li>Deliver repeatable operational metrics that establish your department as a network benchmark.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p><div class="content-conclusion"><p>ShipMonk is an equal opportunity employer.
