Operations Supervisor (Authentication)

<p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;"><strong>About the Team</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">The Operations team manages our worldwide distribution network and is responsible for authenticating our sneakers, fulfilling orders and ensuring on-time delivery to buyers. Through our technological innovation and logistical efficiency, you will join a team that prides itself on being the most trusted marketplace in the industry while shipping and processing tens of millions of products for our global buyers and sellers.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Role Overview</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">The Supervisor, Authentication is responsible for the management and day-to-day strategy of the Authentication team. You’ll partner with Operations leadership to develop a plan for continued growth and development and ensure SLA compliance while upholding our quality and safety standards.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>In this role, you will:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Be responsible for day-to-day operations, quality control &amp; supervision of the Authentication team, including actively communicating in the Slack channels, informal daily check in's, coaching on performance and assisting with scheduling needs of the Authentication team, as needed</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Execute and track operational goals and is responsible for troubleshooting performance issues related to Cost Per Order (CPO)</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Foster a culture of safety, teamwork and continuous learning by upholding GOAT's quality and safety standards and ensuring SLA compliance</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Be responsible for the day-to-day people management and development of the Authentication team, including coaching employees to meet operational goals, performance management and training.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Work cross-functionally to drive Quality Control expectations within Authentication</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Support tracking and troubleshooting order issues, e.g. misverification reports, and audits to support the team. Act as the last line of defense for any order issues</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Work in a dynamic warehouse environment with heavy equipment</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>We are looking for:&nbsp;</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience with a background in product authentication</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Knowledge of and passion for sneakers and apparel, including familiarity with industry trends and resources</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Strong attention to detail, problem-solving and decision-making skills</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">A quick learner and self-starter, capable of working independently and handling increasing levels of responsibility</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey their views to others</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Ability to lift and move boxes (up to 35 pounds)</span></li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Willingness and ability to work extended hours as needed, including weekends and holidays, during peak times to meet business needs</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">The following statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
