About the role

This position is responsible for providing operational excellence and project management support to our two cell therapy manufacturing plants in Belgium.  You will play a key role in strengthening the continuous improvement culture, building Lean and 6Sigma skills within the organization and lead complex, cross functional optimization initiatives.   You combine project management; strong stakeholder management and communication skills with training and coaching skills to drive effective communication, coordination and collaboration. <h2>What can you expect?</h2> <h3>Here’s what you’ll do:</h3> <ul> <li> <div>Co-own the Operational Excellence program for the site, focusing on building a strong continuous improvement culture and developing Lean & 6sigma capabilities across the organization. </div> </li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Provide training, coaching and development of Lean and 6sigma capabilities, including: <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Support the selection of green belt trainees and projects, help organize GB training in collaboration with our J&J partners, coaching and and review of Green Belt projects to support certification</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Deliver basic statistics training and support teams with questions related to DMAIC, data analysis and structured problem-solving</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Optimize and maintain templates and tools</li> </ul> </li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Educate, coach and lead OpEx deployment leads in operational departments  </li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Lead complex Lean and Six Sigma improvement projects requiring Black Belt–level expertise, supporting strategic objectives of the organization, such as: <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Cost optimization</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Lead time reduction </li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Deviation reduction</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Scheduling and shift regime optimization </li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Cleanroom efficiency improvements</li> </ul> </li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Serve as a subject-matter expert for advanced statistics and data analysis questions </li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Use Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, including 5S, standard work, visual management, Kanban, Pareto analysis and others, to structure and improve initiatives. </li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Build and maintain strong working relationships with peers across the organization </li> </ul> <h2>Who are we looking for?</h2> <h3>Education</h3> <ul> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Minimum bachelor degree</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Black Belt certification</li> </ul> <h3>Experience</h3> <ul> <li> <div>Minimum 5 years of experience in Industrial Operations environment, of which 3 years of experience in Pharma </div> </li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Experience in lean process optimization tools: black belt certified</li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Experience in 6sigma problem solving methodology and tools: green belt certified </li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Knowledge and experience in human factors are a plus </li> </ul> <h3>Languages</h3> <ul> <li> <div>Fluent in English  </div> </li> <li style="font-size: 10pt;">Good knowledge of Dutch is a plus</li> </ul> <h3>Strengths </h3> <ul> <li> <div>Collaborative team player
