About the role
The Ophthalmic Technologist is responsible for providing collaborative medical support to the ophthalmology providers . Essential Job Functions • Performs and supervises the performance of a wide range of diagnostic tests and studies pertaining to the eye, to include but not limited to: visual acuity testing, tonometry, slit lamp evaluations, fundus and fluorescein angiography, A-scans, HRT and Humphrey and Goldmann visual fields. • Receives and prepares patient for the physician visit.
