Senior or Civil Engineers - Urban Development

• Conduct regular site inspections during the construction phase to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with design specifications and contract requirements.
• For the design focused engineer roles, contribute to design delivery from feasibility studies and concept design to detailed design and construction.
• Administer and manage contract obligations, variations, and claims to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
• Coordinate and liaise with contractors, subcontractors, clients, and stakeholders to resolve technical and contractual issues.
• Prepare and review site reports, inspection records, and progress documentation.
• Collaborate with design teams to address construction queries and implement design changes as required.
• Assist in managing project budgets, schedules, and quality assurance during construction.
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships within the industry and with regulatory authorities.
   

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (RPEQ qualification desirable).
• Experience in construction phase site inspections and contract administration or design phases of civil engineering or land development projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, project management principles, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent report writing and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while coordinating with contractors and clients.
• Experience working collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams to ensure design integrity during construction.
• Competence in presenting technical information clearly to clients, contractors, and senior management.
