Order Resolution Specialist

About the Role

CabinetParts.com is looking for an Order Resolution Specialist to resolve order issues from start to finish.

You’ll manage open order exceptions, track details across departments, and communicate clearly with customers, suppliers, warehouses, and carriers. Issues may include shipping delays, missing items, damaged products, returns, refunds, replacements, backorders, and inventory discrepancies.


***This is not a scripted call center role. You’ll be solving operational problems and making sound decisions to keep orders moving.***


Responsibilities

  • Investigate and resolve order issues including shipment delays, damaged items, missing products, back orders, and tracking discrepancies
  • Communicate clear, accurate updates to customers by phone, email, or chat
  • Coordinate with warehouses, suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to resolve issues quickly
  • Process returns, refunds, and replacements when appropriate
  • Track open issues and follow up until they are fully resolved
  • Document issues, actions taken, and final resolutions accurately
  • Identify recurring problems and escalate patterns to management
  • Support other order-related tasks as needed


Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • College degree is preferred, or 3+ years of experience in a similar role
  • 2+ years of experience in e-commerce operations, order management, fulfillment, logistics, customer support, or a related field preferred
  • Experience with order management systems, CRM tools, or ticketing systems is a plus
  • Strong multitasking skills and ability to manage several open issues at once
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and good organizational habits
  • Comfortable working with browser-based tools, order systems, and customer records
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
  • Positive attitude and willingness to work both independently and with a team
