<p>As we expand in Oregon, we are seeking a Counselor Supervisor to lead, develop, and support a team of clinicians while helping drive strong clinical outcomes and operational excellence.</p>
<h2><strong>About the Role</strong></h2>
<p>This is a hybrid leadership role based in the Portland metro area. The Counselor Supervisor will oversee a team of counselors and therapists, ensuring high-quality care delivery, strong clinical performance, and alignment with Affect’s treatment model.</p>
<p>This role blends clinical supervision, team leadership, performance management, and program development—ideal for someone who enjoys building, coaching, and improving systems while staying connected to clinical work.</p>
<h2><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h2>
<ul>
<li>Provide individual and group clinical supervision to counselors and therapists</li>
<li>Coach clinicians on complex cases, clinical skill development, and adherence to treatment standards</li>
<li>Drive strong clinical outcomes and team performance, including productivity, engagement, and quality metrics</li>
<li>Monitor and ensure timely documentation, billing accuracy, and compliance standards</li>
<li>Support caseload and utilization management, including scheduling optimization and panel adjustments</li>
<li>Conduct chart reviews, audits, and performance evaluations</li>
<li>Partner with clinical leadership, operations, and medical teams to ensure smooth day-to-day care delivery</li>
<li>Support training, onboarding, and ongoing development of clinicians</li>
<li>Contribute to new program initiatives, protocols, and quality improvement efforts</li>
<li>Maintain a small clinical caseload as needed to support operations and remain connected to care delivery</li>
<li>Participate in hiring and help build a strong, mission-aligned team</li>
</ul>
<h2><strong>Requirements</strong></h2>
<ul>
<li>Active and independent Oregon license: LCSW or LPC</li>
<li>Minimum 2+ years of experience as an independent clinician</li>
<li>Prior experience supervising clinicians (required)</li>
<li>Ability to supervise clinicians across substance use and mental health treatment</li>
<li>Willingness to work in-office in the Portland metro area</li>
<li>Ability to maintain a Monday–Friday schedule</li>
<li>Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage across teams</li>
<li>Experience supporting documentation standards, utilization, and performance management</li>
<li>Comfort working in a structured, fast-paced clinical environment</li>
</ul>
<h2><strong>Preferred</strong></h2>
<ul>
<li>Experience leading teams and managing clinical staff performance</li>
<li>Experience with hiring, onboarding, or training clinicians</li>
<li>Familiarity with local Oregon treatment landscape and community resources</li>
</ul>
