This role is responsible for managing artist partnerships and commissioned artwork across multiple programs, ensuring alignment with brand direction and program needs.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">The coordinator serves as a key liaison between Fanatics Collectibles, licensors, and artists, supporting the development of art direction and guiding execution through artist engagement. This role oversees artist participation from onboarding through delivery readiness and collaborates cross functionally with Product Development, Licensing, Legal, Accounts Payable, and Vendor Support to ensure program success.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">The ideal candidate demonstrates strong artistic judgment alongside organizational and project management capabilities to effectively manage creative partnerships within a structured business environment.</span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Manage original art across multiple programs from artist engagement through delivery readiness.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Serve as liaison between Fanatics Collectibles, licensors, and artists to ensure alignment on creative expectations.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Curate and engage artists whose style and strengths align with brand and program needs.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Develop art direction for programs and ensure alignment throughout artist execution.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Own artist partnerships and manage their participation across assignments, timelines, and artwork progress.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Coordinate artist onboarding, contracting, and payment readiness in collaboration with Legal, Accounts Payable, and Vendor Support.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Represent Fanatics Collectibles at industry events as needed to identify and engage prospective artists.</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>&nbsp;</strong></span></p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><strong>THE IDEAL CANDIDATE</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Based in San Diego, CA.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">2+ years of experience in a related field such as art coordination, creative project management, artist relations, design, or entertainment / sports licensing environments.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Solid understanding of art fundamentals, including color theory, artistic mediums, style development, and composition, with the ability to evaluate artistic fit for brand and program needs.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Passionate about collectibles, storytelling, and visual culture across entertainment and sports.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Knowledgeable about film, comic books, the entertainment industry, pop culture, and sports.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Proven ability to manage multiple artists and timelines in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and tight deadlines.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with keen attention to detail.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Able to work cross functionally across creative and business teams.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging effectively with artists and internal stakeholders.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Skilled in handling and maintaining sensitive data with confidentiality.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and familiar with digital illustration platforms such as Procreate or similar tools.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook/Word/Excel/PowerPoint) with experience using Airtable, Formstack, or similar platforms.</span></li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Art, Illustration, Design, or related creative field.</span></li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Join us and be part of an exciting journey to redefine the collectibles industry while supporting our artist partnerships!</span></p> <p class="p1"><span class="s1" style="font-size: 12pt;"><em>Ensure your Fanatics job offer is legitimate and don’t fall victim to fraud.&nbsp;
