OTR Brokerage Manager

<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Responsibilities</strong></span><strong>:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Strategic Operations &amp; Lane Management</li> <li>Network Optimization: Develop and manage high-density OTR lanes to balance headhaul and backhaul freight, minimizing empty miles and improving network efficiency.</li> <li>Capacity Strategy: Build and maintain a core network of vetted, high-reliability carriers to support consistent service levels.</li> <li>Carrier Sourcing: Identify and onboard strategic carrier partners for high-volume and core lanes.</li> <li>Exception Management: Serve as the final escalation point for complex transit issues, including equipment breakdowns, weather-related disruptions, service failures, and freight claims.&nbsp;</li> <li>Regulatory &amp; Safety Compliance</li> <li>Carrier Vetting: Ensure full compliance with FMCSA regulations and internal carrier qualification standards.</li> <li>Fraud Prevention: Implement and oversee advanced identity verification (IDV) and fraud-prevention processes to mitigate risks related to double-brokering and cargo theft.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Qualifications</strong></span><strong>:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience: 5–10+ years of experience in logistics or transportation, including a minimum of 3 years in a management role within a non-asset OTR brokerage environment.</li> <li>Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.</li> <li>Technical Skills: Proficiency in transportation management systems (TMS) and Microsoft Office applications.</li> <li>Work Schedule Flexibility: Ability to work weekends as required based on business needs and workload.</li> <li>Bilingual (Korean/English) is a plus</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p>
