Senior OTR Brokerage Manager

<p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Type:</strong> Full-Time</p> <p><strong>Location: </strong>Duluth, GA&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Responsibilities</strong></span><strong>:</strong></p> <ul> <li> <p>Strategic Operations &amp; Lane Management</p> <ul> <li> <p>Lead network optimization initiatives by developing and managing high-density OTR lanes to balance headhaul and backhaul freight, reduce empty miles, and improve overall network efficiency.</p> </li> <li> <p>Design and execute capacity strategies by building and maintaining a core network of vetted, high-performing carriers to ensure consistent service levels and operational reliability.</p> </li> <li> <p>Source, evaluate, and onboard strategic carrier partners for high-volume and core lanes within a non-asset OTR brokerage environment.</p> </li> <li> <p>Serve as the primary escalation point for complex transportation and transit issues, including equipment failures, weather-related disruptions, service exceptions, and freight claims resolution.</p> </li> <li> <p>Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) and Microsoft Office applications to monitor lane performance, carrier utilization, and operational KPIs.</p> <p></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> </li> </ul> </li> <li> <p>Regulatory &amp; Safety Compliance</p> <ul> <li> <p>&nbsp;</p> Ensure all carrier partners meet FMCSA regulations and internal carrier qualification standards through comprehensive vetting and compliance oversight.</li> <li>Develop and oversee advanced identity verification (IDV) and fraud-prevention procedures to mitigate risks associated with double-brokering, cargo theft, and fraudulent carrier activity.<br><br></li> <li>Maintain operational compliance standards while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across carrier management and brokerage operations. <p></p> <p></p> </li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>Qualifications</strong></span><strong>:</strong></p> <ul> <li> <ul> <li>10+ years of experience in logistics or transportation, including at least 7 years in a leadership or management role within a non-asset OTR brokerage environment.</li> <li data-section-id="idwzal" data-start="1622" data-end="1733">Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.</li> <li data-section-id="dl7fpg" data-start="1734" data-end="1871">Strong proficiency with transportation management systems (TMS) and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and reporting tools.</li> <li data-section-id="9hxssz" data-start="1872" data-end="1982">Demonstrated expertise in carrier sourcing, lane management, network optimization, and brokerage operations.</li> <li data-section-id="1fswa1v" data-start="1983" data-end="2096">Strong analytical, problem-solving, and escalation management skills in fast-paced transportation environments.</li> <li data-section-id="jzmpf4" data-start="2097" data-end="2204" data-is-last-node="">Ability to work weekends and flexible schedules as required by business demands and operational workload.</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p>
