Summary of Responsibility:

We are seeking a motivated and driven Outside Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside an established veteran sales professional, learning the ins and outs of the territory, customer base, and product line, with a clear path to take over the territory upon transition.

What You Will Contribute:

  • Work closely with a senior sales representative to understand the territory’s history, accounts, and strategies

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while identifying and cultivating new prospects

  • Conduct on-site visits, product demonstrations, and presentations

  • Collaborate with internal teams to create tailored solutions for customer needs

  • Track all sales activities and customer interactions through CRM tools

  • Participate in training, product updates, and industry events to maintain expertise

Qualifications & Competencies:

  • Completion of either a manufacturing trade school certificate program, a two-year college degree or work equivalent.

  • Some working knowledge and understanding of CNC machine technology and applications.

  • Basic manufacturing technology, tooling and part inspection is desired.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to interpret instructions provided in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

  • Frequent travel throughout a regional sales territory is necessary.

  • Ability to work responsibly and professionally in dynamic job sites that may involve tight timelines, changing priorities, and interaction with customers and team members.

Certain positions are designated as safety-sensitive due to the nature of the work performed. Employees in these roles may also be expected to:

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, climb, and reach for extended periods while servicing equipment.

  • Ability to work in tight spaces or awkward positions, including accessing equipment interiors and elevated areas.

  • Strong hand–eye coordination and fine motor skills required for precise electrical, mechanical, and diagnostic work.

  • Ability to work in industrial environments, with exposure to noise, lubricants, coolants, metal chips, and other manufacturing conditions, while consistently wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
