About the Role

A well-established financial services business based in Somerset West is looking for a sharp, newly-qualified CA(SA) / CGMA to step into a fractional Financial Manager capacity. This is an ideal first post-articles opportunity for someone who wants real financial management exposure.

You'll take ownership of the financial function on a part-time, hybrid basis, working directly with senior leadership to deliver management accounts, drive financial reporting, and support operational decision-making.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and present monthly management accounts
• Oversee month-end close processes and reconciliations
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Liaise with external auditors and service providers
• Identify process improvements and implement controls where needed
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting to leadership

Requirements

What We're Looking For

• Newly qualified CA(SA) / CGMA - fresh out of articles
• Strong technical accounting foundation with practical experience gained during articles
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities with limited oversight
• Comfortable in a hybrid, part-time structure
• Somerset West-based or able to commute without issue
• Excellent communication skills
