In this role, the packaging associate will maintain accuracy in weighing product, fulfilling product, labelling, and inventory is paramount.&nbsp;</span></p> <p><span class="u-regular-font"><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li><span class="u-regular-font">Package infused and plant material into proper containers with proper labeling to ensure compliance with state regulations.</span></li> <li><span class="u-regular-font">Exhibit competency in basic organizational skills, communication skills and windows based operating software</span></li> <li><span class="u-regular-font">Manage time efficiently in order to meet goals while consistently producing quality product</span></li> <li><span class="u-regular-font">Sanitation &amp; cleanup of all processing areas throughout the day</span></li> <li><span class="u-regular-font">Assist with the production line</span></li> <li><span class="u-regular-font">Load and unload items from machines, carts, and dollies</span></li> <li><span class="u-regular-font">Fill and package products for delivery</span></li> <li><span class="u-regular-font">Record data</span></li> </ul> <p><strong><span class="u-regular-font">Qualifications &amp; Requirements:</span></strong></p> <ul> <li><span class="u-regular-font">High School diploma or G.E.D required.</span></li> <li><span class="u-regular-font">Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or warehouse setting desirable.</span></li> <li><span class="u-regular-font">Must be able to adapt quickly to changes in policy, procedure and technique.</span></li> <li><span class="u-regular-font">Employee must exhibit personal hygiene and follow the health guidelines set forth by the company and the state while processing cannabis product.</span></li> <li><span class="u-regular-font">Ability to listen well and communicate effectively with various audiences, especially with the direct supervisors and co-workers.</span></li> <li><span class="u-regular-font">Ability to perform a monotonous task with great efficiency over 8-hour work periods without losing quality.</span></li> <li><span class="u-regular-font">Must work well in a group and independently; demonstrate self-motivation and initiative.</span></li> <li><span class="u-regular-font">Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.</span></li> <li><span class="u-regular-font">Must be at least 21 years of age and able to obtain/maintain all state-required cannabis badging, which includes pre-employment background check.</span></li> <li><span class="u-regular-font">Most possess a valid driver's license or state ID card.</span></li> </ul> <p><strong>Physical Requirements &amp; Work Environment:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Must be capable of sitting, squatting, standing, kneeling, bending, or walking for long durations.&nbsp;</li> <li>Must have the ability to push, pull, or lift a minimum of 50 pounds.&nbsp;</li> <li>Allergen warnings - Potential exposure to dust, pollen, and plant pathogens.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="title">Maryland Pay Range</div><div class="pay-range"><span>$18.50</span><span class="divider">&mdash;</span><span>$18.50 USD</span></div></div></div><div class="content-conclusion"><p><strong>Our Benefits:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Paid time off (PTO) including 8 paid holidays per year*</li> <li>Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance*</li> <li>401k retirement savings plan*</li> <li>Company paid Short-Term &amp; Long-Term disability*</li> <li>Company paid Life Insurance*</li> <li>Employee Assistance Program (EAP)</li> <li>Employee referral program</li> <li>Commuter benefits*</li> <li>Product discounts</li> <li>Additional compensation incentives (tips, bonuses, etc.)</li> </ul> <p>*For full-time positions only</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>We want our story to be one that fosters an inclusive culture and provides an enriching employee experience.
