<p><strong>Paediatric Speech & Language Therapist </strong></p>
<p><strong>Band: </strong>6</p>
<p><strong>Location:</strong> Morden, Surrey (School‑Based, Multi‑Site)</p>
<p><strong>Start Date:</strong> ASAP</p>
<p><strong>Contract:</strong> Ongoing</p>
<p><strong>Working Pattern:</strong> 4 days per week (7.5 hours per day + 30‑minute break)</p>
<p><strong>Job Overview</strong></p>
<p>Pulse is seeking an experienced Band 6 Paediatric Speech & Language Therapist to provide specialist support across two school sites in Morden, Surrey. This role involves working with children with a range of communication needs and disabilities, delivering both dysphagia and early‑years communication interventions within a school environment.</p>
<p>You will complete independent assessments, contribute to EHCP processes, and support children with complex communication profiles, including those using AAC and communication devices.</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Complete independent dysphagia assessments for children within a school setting</li>
<li>Conduct early‑years communication assessments and deliver targeted provision</li>
<li>Lead and contribute to EHCP reviews</li>
<li>Provide intervention for children with a range of communication needs and disabilities</li>
<li>Support pupils using communication aids and devices, particularly in early years</li>
<li>Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications & Experience</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>HCPC‑registered Speech & Language Therapist</li>
<li>Paediatric dysphagia training/experience (essential)</li>
<li>Experience with AAC/communication aids, especially early years</li>
<li>Experience working with children with disabilities</li>
<li>Confident working independently across school environments</li>
