<p><strong>Make the Environment Feel Like Home</strong></p>
<p>On any given day, you might prepare and paint resident apartments for new move-ins, refresh common areas, complete touch-ups throughout the community, or collaborate with maintenance teams on larger projects. Your work directly impacts first impressions, resident satisfaction, and overall community pride.</p>
<p>In this role, you’ll manage painting projects throughout the campus, ensuring high-quality results, timely completion of work orders, and attention to detail in every space.</p>
<p><strong>You will:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Perform interior and exterior painting, staining, and finishing work </li>
<li>Perform scheduled painting and wallcovering in apartments and common areas</li>
<li>Prepare and restore surfaces in vacant units to support move-in readiness</li>
<li>Complete drywall repairs, patching, sanding, and surface preparation</li>
<li>Prepare surfaces for painting (cleaning, caulking, priming, minor repairs)</li>
<li>Maintain common areas with routine painting, touch-ups, and repairs</li>
<li>Match paint colors and finishes for consistency throughout the community</li>
<li>Use the work order system to manage and complete assigned tasks</li>
<li>Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas with minimal disruption to residents</li>
<li>Follow OSHA safety standards and proper equipment/material handling</li>
<li>Identify and report maintenance issues requiring additional support</li>
<li>Assist with general maintenance tasks as needed</li>
<li>Provide professional, resident-focused service at all times</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>What You Bring</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent required</li>
<li>2+ years of painting or general maintenance experience preferred</li>
<li>Experience with interior/exterior painting, drywall repair, and surface preparation</li>
<li>Ability to use power tools and painting equipment</li>
<li>Basic understanding of OSHA safety standards</li>
<li>Proven experience in residential or commercial painting</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of painting techniques, surface preparation, and materials</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and manage time across multiple locations</li>
<li>Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship</li>
<li>Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between assigned communities</li>
<li>Strong communication and teamwork skills</li>
<li>Experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality settings is a plus</li>
<li>Ability to read and speak English</li>
</ul>
