About the Partner Operations Associate role

The Operations Team is the engine behind Trove’s unique recommerce offering. We handle the receipt of merchandise from partners and customers, make that merchandise sellable, fulfill customer purchases, and support any customer post-purchase needs. As a member of this team, you’ll support the future success of your colleagues and the recommerce programs. Naturally, the role of Partner Operations Associate integrates with the Onboarding and Partnerships Management team. Expect to become an expert in partner programs, effectively bridging the Partnerships and Operations teams. This role will report to the Sr. Partner Operations Manager.

What You’ll Do

Trove serves its partners by enabling an end-to-end, branded resale business. The intricacies of these programs are often complex and unique across programs. You’ll work closely with the Operations and Partnerships teams to ensure we can support the partner’s desired outcomes for new merchandise initiatives, product launches, and other inventory-related activities outside the day-to-day production center operations. 

• You will be at the forefront for Trove and the world’s beloved brands performing inventory assessments for our prospective partners hoping to launch a branded resale program.
• You will actively review partner program design and refine our operational processes by driving continuous process improvement to reduce complexity, cost and increase efficiency
• Be the subject matter expert by bridging sustainability, fashion product knowledge, authentication, technology, training, and lean manufacturing principles to collaborate on new operations solutions
• Work with partnerships, operations, and process improvement teams to conceptualize, scope & test proofs-of-concept for scaling existing partner programs
• Gather requirements and feedback to unblock the movement of all inventory to our 3PL and 3P vendors

Experience You Bring

• Experience in e-commerce, retail, warehousing, resale, and/or 3PL industries
• Experience managing systems and workflows for physical product
• Understanding of warehouse management software and processes
• Demonstrated experience in managing multiple, different work streams at once
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills; able to build trust with internal and external stakeholders  
• Adaptable and able to adjust quickly to changing priorities and conditions. Cope effectively with complexity and change
• Strong attention to detail, to ensure important details do not slip through the cracks
• Seeks to deeply understand partner priorities and be the “voice of the partner” within Operations

Bonus Points If You Have

• Experience in technical writing and/or data analysis
• Experience in standing up new operational procedures from concept to steady-state
• Built training modules or operating procedures for operations teams
