Founded to support early-stage, venture-backed companies, we continue to bring a tech-forward, disruptive ethos to everything we do.</p> <p><strong>How We Work:<br></strong>Scale attorneys are not salaried; instead, Scale pays attorneys a percentage of the fees collected from their clients. Unlike in a traditional law firm setting, where attorneys typically receive a third of the value they create for the law firm, Scale attorneys net a combination of collected origination and matter responsible fees.</p> <p><strong>Who We're Seeking:<br></strong>We are always looking for excellent attorneys of all stripes to join our firm.</p> <ul> <li><em>Association as Counsel. We are willing to accept attorneys from senior in-house positions with no demonstrable book as counsel. Because the firm’s collections-based model only works for attorneys capable of developing client work, however, we require applicants to identify at least one anchor client and articulate a clear business development plan at association.</em></li> <li><em>Partnership. To be considered for a lateral partnership, we ask that applicants be prepared to demonstrate a significant transferrable book of originations. Attorneys who have less are welcome to apply for a position as counsel.</em></li> </ul> <p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:<br></strong>Applicants must have at least 7 years of experience at an AmLaw 100 law firm, or in-house with a reputable company, have graduated from a top-tier law school, or be able to demonstrate an excellent and sustained reputation in industry.</p> <p>In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.</p> <p>At Scale LLP, we believe a focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion is integral to hiring exceptional people and creating enduring businesses.
