About the role

We are looking for an entrepreneurial and commercially driven Country Manager to lead the launch of one of the GCC’s fastest-growing platforms in a brand new market. As the first hire in Oman, you will have the unique opportunity to build a business from zero, driving partnerships, shaping market strategy, and establishing the platform as a leading destination for youth engagement in the country.

In this role, you will be responsible for owning the full market activation of Oman, driving brand partner acquisition, establishing key commercial relationships, and ensuring the platform successfully resonates with local users. As the first hire in the market and a direct report to the CEO, you will play a critical role in building the brand's presence from the ground up and shaping its long-term success in Oman.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute the brand's market entry and expansion strategy in Oman.
  • Drive brand partner acquisition and build a strong pipeline of commercial opportunities.
  • Identify, approach, and close partnerships with brands, businesses, and key stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with partners and strategic accounts.
  • Own market activation initiatives and ensure strong local execution of the platform.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the Omani youth market, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape.
  • Act as the face of the business in Oman and represent the company across meetings, events, and industry engagements.
  • Monitor commercial performance and take full ownership of market targets and KPIs.
  • Provide market insights and recommendations to leadership on growth opportunities and strategic initiatives.
  • Operate independently in a fast-paced, startup environment with limited infrastructure and resources.

Requirements

  • Omani national.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, business development, partnerships, or commercial leadership roles.
  • Proven track record of building and closing commercial partnerships and growing business from scratch.
  • Existing network across brands, businesses, and relevant industries in Oman.
  • Strong understanding of the Omani market, local consumer trends, and Gulf youth culture.
  • Demonstrated ownership of commercial targets and ability to deliver measurable results.
  • Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and make decisions in ambiguous environments.
  • Comfortable operating in a high-growth startup environment and launching new markets.
  • Arabic and English fluency preferred.
  • Based in Oman and available to start immediately.
