Our people set us apart—and with locations across the U.S., there’s room to grow, take on big challenges, and make an immediate impact.</p></div><p><strong>Parts Administrator</strong><br>Reports to: Parts Manager<br>FLSA Status: Non-Exempt, Hourly<br>Pay Range: $24-$28/hour<br><br>The Opportunity<br>We are a rapidly growing manufacturer’s representative firm based in Island Lake, IL specializing in commercial HVAC products. We are currently seeking a Parts Administrator to process customer orders, respond to inquiries, and provide excellent customer service. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and can perform in a mostly solo environment. This role requires a self-motivated individual who actively contributes to the team’s success and ensures customer satisfaction and retention.</p> <p><br>Responsibilities<br>• Supports customers by phone, email, and over the counter.<br>• Promptly identify HVACR parts and equipment to process quotes &amp; orders.<br>• Makes customers aware of product promotions.<br>• Perform warehouse duties. Including shipping, receiving and inventory control and<br>• Determines best method to resolve customer inquiries regarding products and services.<br>• Report Inventory discrepancies.<br>• Provides timely customer follow-up.<br>• Make deliveries to nearby locations<br>• Develop and maintain relationships with our customers and business partners.<br>• Maintains the warehouse by keeping it clean and organized.<br>• Provides friendly customer service.<br>• Performs other duties as assigned.<br>• Ability to drive a forklift or be willing to train and become certified.<br>• Have a forklift certification or be willing to acquire one internally.</p> <p><br>The Required Profile<br>• High school diploma or equivalent.<br>• Strong verbal and written communication skills.<br>• Parts Sales experience.<br>• Strong Computer skills.<br>• Strong organizational and customer service skills.<br>• Ability to prioritize and multitask.</p> <p><br>Environmental Requirements<br>The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and sit. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
