Parts Manager

We’re still a family-owned business!</p> <p>The Parts Manager will oversee all phases of Parts Operation such as inventory control (shipping/receiving, obsolescence control, parts turnover, stock order efficiencies, etc.), hiring and training Parts Department Personnel, managing departmental budgets, key performance indicators, marketing and selling parts to successfully achieve financial targets. This position requires a friendly disposition with the ability to lead other and interact with a broad base of customers.</p> <p><strong><u>Qualifications</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>3 years or more of leadership experience within the equipment or auto service industry is required.</li> <li>Experience with agriculture equipment or construction equipment is preferred.</li> <li>Strong work ethic.</li> <li>Superior communication skills.</li> <li>A strong sense of urgency is required.</li> <li>Customer service experience is required.</li> <li>Confidence in working with Microsoft Office applications and learning new software programs.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>Responsibilities:</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Set challenging goals and objectives for each departmental employee.</li> <li>Formally evaluate each employee annually, mentor, coach and give feedback.</li> <li>Ensure that one complete physical inventory is conducted annually.</li> <li>Maximize vendor authorizes stock returns to enhance parts turns and cash flows.</li> <li>Meet daily with Branch and Service Management to promote collegial working relationships.</li> <li>Review all open documents weekly with Branch Manager.</li> <li>Complete all parts department filings, i.e., stock orders and records, etc. weekly.</li> <li>Assist parts counter when necessary.</li> <li>Provide and encourage a culture of personal development and career advancement.</li> <li>Take ownership of merchandising showroom and storefront.</li> <li>Deep understanding of financial statements and departmental metrics.</li> <li>Solid computer skills (Microsoft Office).</li> </ul> <p><strong><u>Benefits</u></strong></p> <ul> <li>Medical, Dental &amp; Vision Insurance</li> <li>Health Savings Account (Employer + Employee Contributions)</li> <li>Accident &amp; Disease Insurance</li> <li>401K Plan + Match</li> <li>Competitive Paid time off Policy</li> <li>Short/Long Term Disability</li> <li>Annual Reviews</li> <li>Bonus Incentive Plans</li> </ul> <p>Monroe Tractor is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and values diversity in the workplace.
