<p><span data-contrast="auto">We are seeking a Patient Advocate to act as a liaison between patients and clinical staff to communicate or resolve incoming inquiries regarding finances, HIPAA, and information as needed. <li><span data-contrast="auto">Reviews the accuracy of demographics, insurance, completion of forms, organizational data to be entered in the chart in a timely manner. </span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":false,"134233118":false,"335559738":0,"335559739":0}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Conduct New Patient Orientation/Administrative Intake for accurate intake paperwork collection. Functions as a service regarding insurance and other administrative procedures, </span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":false,"134233118":false,"335559738":0,"335559739":0}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Point of contact for billing information for Urinary Drug Screening (UDS) coordination and Genetic Testing coordination. Obtains approval to move forward with services.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":false,"134233118":false,"335559738":0,"335559739":0}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Follows up with financially responsible party who is not present at intake to review program cost and collects necessary documents for patient to start recommended program.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":false,"134233118":false,"335559738":0,"335559739":0}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Follows up with patient’s parents if joint medical decision-making consent is needed and obtains necessary documents for patient to start recommended program.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":false,"134233118":false,"335559738":0,"335559739":0}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Maintain patient charts according to confidentiality standards and policy. Maintain all patient’s, visitor’s, and staff’s confidentiality according to HIPAA requirements and Compass policy.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":false,"134233118":false,"335559738":0,"335559739":0}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Performs clerical duties to ensure efficient operations of the center to include computers, office equipment, copiers, fax, scanner, postage equipment.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":false,"134233118":false,"335559738":0,"335559739":0}"> </span></li>

<p>Compass Health Center is a recognized leader in crisis-level mental health, bringing passion, connection, and patient-centered care to the Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient space (PHP/IOP). Based in Chicagoland, we serve hundreds of patients every day, ranging from ages 5 through adulthood, in our onsite facilities or through our flourishing virtual programming. Compass fills a critical gap between outpatient and inpatient care through an intermediate level of Behavioral Healthcare.<em> </em> </p>
