Payroll Specialist (f/m/d)

For our Payroll department, in Bremerhaven, we have the following position to be filled as Payroll Specialist (f/m/d) 

 

Your tasks = Our dish  

We are looking for a motivated person to join our payroll team. This role is suitable for candidates with varying levels of experience – from first exposure to payroll topics to several years of experience. Depending on your background, you will gradually take on more responsibility.

 

• Support or independently execute monthly payroll
• Maintain and review employee and payroll data
• Check payroll‑relevant information (e.g. time data, contract changes, bonuses)
• Support reporting to social security institutions and authorities
• Assist in monthly and yearly payroll close activities
• Act as a contact person for employees and managers on payroll topics
• Contribute to the improvement of payroll processes

 

Your ingredients = Our success   

• Completed commercial education (e.g. tax clerk, industrial clerk, office administration or similar)
• Initial experience in payroll or strong interest to develop in this area
• Basic knowledge of tax and social security topics is a plus
• Good MS Office skills, payroll system experience is an advantage
• Structured, reliable and independent working style
• Good English skills (spoken and written), enabling collaboration in an international environment
• High level of commitment, resilience, and a hands-on mentality with the ambition to create sustainable impact
