In this role, you'll own the full PCB design lifecycle—from schematic capture and layout through manufacturing release and production support.</p> <p>You'll collaborate with electrical, mechanical, test, manufacturing, and producibility teams to create designs that meet demanding performance, quality, and manufacturability requirements.</p> <p>If you enjoy solving complex design challenges and seeing your work become real hardware, we'd love to hear from you.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Location:</strong> Tucson, AZ (Onsite)<br><strong>Relocation Assistance Available</strong><br><strong>U.S. Citizenship Required</strong><br><strong>Active Secret Clearance Preferred | Ability to Obtain Required</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Why Join Us?</strong></p> <ul> <li>Design hardware used in advanced aerospace and defense systems</li> <li>Work on complex multi-layer, rigid, flex, and rigid-flex PCB designs</li> <li>Collaborate with experienced engineers across multiple disciplines</li> <li>Influence product performance, reliability, and manufacturability</li> <li>Work with industry-leading PCB design tools</li> <li>Relocation assistance available</li> <li>Opportunities for technical growth and career advancement</li> </ul> <p><strong>What You'll Do</strong></p> <ul> <li>Design printed circuit boards (PCBs) and circuit card assemblies (CCAs) from concept through manufacturing release</li> <li>Create and maintain schematic drawings, PCB layouts, fabrication files, and manufacturing documentation</li> <li>Perform schematic capture, component placement, trace routing, and design optimization activities</li> <li>Generate manufacturing deliverables including Gerber and ODB++ outputs</li> <li>Design rigid, flex, and rigid-flex PCB assemblies</li> <li>Support new board designs, revisions, engineering changes, and process improvements</li> <li>Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, test, manufacturing, and producibility engineering teams to ensure design requirements are achieved</li> <li>Participate in design reviews and support issue resolution throughout the product lifecycle</li> <li>Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance design quality and efficiency</li> <li>Support manufacturing readiness and production activities</li> </ul> <p><strong>What We're Looking For</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience</li> <li>5+ years of experience in PCB design, PCB layout, eCAD engineering, or hardware development</li> <li>Experience designing printed circuit boards and circuit card assemblies for production environments</li> <li>Experience with rigid, flex, and/or rigid-flex PCB technologies</li> <li>Understanding of PCB fabrication, assembly, and manufacturing processes</li> <li>Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills</li> <li>Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering disciplines</li> <li>U.S. Citizenship required</li> <li>Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one</li> </ul> <p><strong>Preferred Experience</strong></p> <ul> <li>Siemens Xpedition (Mentor Graphics) PCB design tools</li> <li>BluePrint-PCB documentation software</li> <li>Schematic capture, routing, constraint management, and component library development</li> <li>Gerber, ODB++, fabrication package generation, and manufacturing release processes</li> <li>Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design Rule Checks (DRC), and Valor NPI tools</li> <li>RF PCB layout and high-speed digital design considerations</li> <li>Aerospace, defense, medical device, telecommunications, or other high-reliability electronics industries</li> <li>Multi-layer PCB and high-density board design</li> </ul> <p><strong>What Success Looks Like</strong></p> <p>In this role, you'll help deliver reliable, manufacturable PCB designs that support advanced aerospace and defense systems.
