About the role
ABIS is looking for a skilled Process System Control Technician (PCST) with experience in Oil & Gas or relevant industries to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting process control systems to ensure seamless production and safety compliance. You will work closely with engineering and operations teams to support system functionality, perform regular inspections, calibrations, and repairs of control instruments and devices. The role demands a strong understanding of process control systems, instrumentation, and safety protocols to optimize operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain process control systems and related instrumentation.
- Perform troubleshooting and calibration of control devices to ensure accurate operation.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of process control equipment.
- Assist in system upgrades and commissioning activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Document maintenance activities and report any system anomalies.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to enhance system performance.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.
- Relevant experience in Oil & Gas or similar industries.
- Proficient in process control systems and instrumentation maintenance.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Familiar with safety regulations and industry standards.
