About the role
If you've been managing billing, collections, or accounts receivable for U.S. clients from a BPO — and you're ready for a stable, long-term placement where your work actually matters to one client — this is your next step.
At MyOutDesk, you won't be processing transactions for a rotating roster of accounts. You'll own the full AR cycle for a specific U.S.-based client, becoming a trusted part of how their business runs financially. Since 2008, we've placed highly-skilled professionals with over 7,500 clients across real estate, healthcare, legal, and finance.
Responsibilities:
- Create, review, and send client invoices accurately and on time
- Post, track, and reconcile incoming payments across multiple channels — credit cards, wire transfers, and checks
- Monitor AR aging reports and track outstanding balances systematically
- Execute professional follow-up workflows with clients on past-due invoices via phone and email
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and respond to client inquiries
- Generate weekly and monthly AR reports on aging metrics and collection performance
- Maintain organized, up-to-date client account records in the company database
Requirements
- Experience: 3+ years of proven experience in Bookkeeping, Accounting, or Accounts Receivable processes, in an international corporate or outsourcing setting.
- Mandatory U.S. Exposure: Proven experience directly supporting U.S.-based companies or executives.
- English Fluency: Advanced/Fluent English for professional verbal and written communication.
- Workplace Stability: A reliable professional background demonstrating commitment, with no more than 3 employers within the past 3 years.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Location: Ability to work on-site at our San Isidro headquarters in Lima.
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks or Xero and MS Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) strongly preferred
