Wildflowers Pediatric Therapy in Duncan, OK is seeking a motivated and energetic Speech Language Pathologist to join our growing team. At Wildflowers, we believe strongly in collaboration, and our mission is to cultivate growth and confidence in children through playful, purposeful, and intention therapy inspired by faith and service.
We maintain a warm, personal small-clinic atmosphere while providing the highest quality physical, occupational, and speech therapy services. Our team is passionate about making a difference and supporting children in a playful, purposeful environment.
This position is open to both new graduates and experienced therapists.
Job Description/ Full Time
This is an opportunity for a therapist who wants to work with clients in a private practice setting with an amazing team! You will have the opportunity to work with the pediatric population and their families and will focus on the diagnosis and treatment of a range of neuro-developmental disorders. We encourage learning and development and offer a supportive, collaborative work environment.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS for Speech Language Pathologist - Clinical Fellow
- Masters level degree in Speech Therapy.
- Oklahoma State License
- Must have Passed Praxis Examination
- Excellent work ethic and dedication to patient success
- Basic computer skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS for Speech Language Pathologist - Clinical Fellow
- Experience working in outpatient pediatrics
- Experience working with clients with developmental disorders
- Additional preference for experience working in areas of: Feeding and AAC
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Communicate with physicians and other health care providers to confirm plans of care
- Provides skilled speech therapy services/interventions to pediatric patients with speech/communication, language, hearing, voice, and feeding/swallowing deficits.
- Advise family members and other supportive individuals about the level of care the patient needs
- Generate reports for patients and their physicians and families
