About the role

Responsibilities

  • Establish short‑term operational plans that support people and culture priorities. 
  • Lead a team of HR employees working across multiple job areas. 
  • Advise senior leaders on performance, organisation design, employee relations and talent planning. 
  • Influence leaders to adopt new people practices and approaches. 
  • Conduct briefings with senior leadership and communicate key HR topics and risks. 
  • Support organisational change, including restructures and integration activities. 
  • Drive significant improvements to HR processes, systems and tools across multiple areas. 
  • Resolve difficult HR issues using broad knowledge, experience and detailed analysis. 
  • Guide talent initiatives including workforce planning, succession and leadership development. 
  • Support the rollout of HR programs and ensure strong adoption across the organisation. 
  • Provide coaching and guidance to the HR employees in the team. 
  • Ensure high quality HR delivery across all supported business areas. 

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • Extensive experience in HR business partnering with exposure to complex organisational environments. 
  • Strong knowledge of employment practices, organisation design, talent management and people processes. 
  • Ability to solve difficult people issues across several business areas using analysis and judgement. 
  • Ability to influence senior leaders and gain support for new concepts and practices. 
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to brief senior leadership. 
  • Experience leading large teams of experienced professionals. 
  • Proven ability to drive significant improvements to HR processes and systems. 
  • Education in HR, business or a related field, supported by significant experience.
