In addition, Aspire Health and Community Services offers a competitive package of compensation and benefits.</p></div><p>We are seeking a warm, skilled, and passionate perinatal therapist to join our team. This clinician will provide psychotherapy services to individuals navigating pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, infertility, pregnancy loss, parenting stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, and related life stressors.</p>
<p><strong>Position Summary</strong></p>
<p>The perinatal therapist will provide outpatient psychotherapy to adults during the perinatal period, including pregnancy and postpartum. The ideal candidate is experienced in women’s mental health, values collaborative care, and is comfortable working with complex emotional and relational dynamics that arise during the transition to parenthood.</p>
<p>This roll offers the opportunity to work within a supportive interdisciplinary environment alongside psychiatric providers, nurses and medical assistants.</p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Provide individual psychotherapy for perinatal and reproductive mental health concerns</li>
<li>Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans</li>
<li>Supports patients experiencing:
<ul>
<li>Postpartum depression and anxiety, PTSD, or bipolar disorder</li>
<li>Birth trauma</li>
<li>Pregnancy-related mood disorders</li>
<li>Infertility and reproductive challenges</li>
<li>Pregnancy and infant loss/grief</li>
<li>Parenting stress and identity transitions</li>
<li>Relationship and family adjustment concerns</li>
</ul>
</li>
<li>Utilize evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as CBT, ACT, DBT-informed skills, attachment-based therapy, mindfulness, and trauma-informed interventions</li>
<li>Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation</li>
<li>Collaborate with psychiatric providers, OB/GYNs, pediatricians, doulas, lactation consultants, and community supports as appropriate</li>
<li>Participate in team meetings, case consultation, and ongoing professional development</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work or Counseling Psychology</li>
<li>Active independent licensure in Massachusetts (LICSW, LMHC, PsyD, or PhD preferred)</li>
<li>Experience working in perinatal, postpartum, or women’s mental health populations</li>
<li>Strong Clinical Assessment and psychotherapy skills</li>
<li>Commitment to compassionate, inclusive, and culturally responsive care</li>
<li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>PMH-C certification or interest in obtaining certification</li>
<li>Specialized training in perinatal mental health, trauma, attachment, or reproductive psychology</li>
<li>Experience with couples or family work</li>
<li>Experience in outpatient or integrated care settings</li>
