About the role
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead flow assurance activities for surface, subsurface, and process systems.
- Perform multiphase flow modeling using OLGA (transient) and Pipesim (steady-state) and similar tools.
- Conduct fluid characterization using PVTsim, MULTIFLASH, or equivalent software.
- Support production engineering, facility design, and reservoir engineering projects.
- Participate in hydraulic-simulation-based concept-to-execution studies.
- Respond to operational issues promptly, making swift, informed decisions.
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Petroleum, or Mechanical Engineering from an internationally recognized and approved program.
Years of Experience:
- Minimum 10 years in a petroleum engineering organization, including at least 5 years in flow assurance.
Required Skills:
- Expertise in multiphase flow modeling and fluid characterization.
- Experience in production engineering, flow assurance, and facility design.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to work with advanced multiphase simulators.
- Ability to respond to operational situations 24/7.
Preferred Certificate:
- SPE Certification
Nature of Work and Work Schedule:
- Experienced professional role based in Dhahran.
- Primarily office-based with potential fieldwork as required.
- May require round-the-clock availability to address operational challenges.
