About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Support prescription processing, including entering physician orders and preparing medications for pharmacist review
- Assist with medication dispensing and packaging
- Maintain accurate inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking medications and supplies
- Support controlled substance tracking, audits, and compliance activities
- Transport medications and pharmacy supplies to partner locations as needed
- Collaborate with pharmacists, providers, and care teams to ensure coordinated service delivery
- Assist with billing records, reporting, and general documentation
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives
- Support onboarding and training of new team members
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements, Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- At least one (1) year experience as a pharmacy technician preferred
- Must have CALM protect training either upon hire or within 30 days of hire
- A valid, unrestricted driver's license and agency established minimum automobile coverage required
- A valid, unencumbered State Pharmacy Technician Registration required
- Bring strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
- Thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare setting
- Communicate clearly and effectively with both clinical staff and patients
- Stay organized and can manage multiple priorities with confidence
- Are passionate about supporting access to care and improving community wellness
- Take initiative and are eager to learn and grow within your role
