Physical Therapist Assistant – Support Meaningful Recovery in Fort Lauderdale

As a PTA, your work helps patients follow through. You’re the person guiding movement, checking form, encouraging safe progress, and helping each treatment plan come to life.
This PT-owned orthopedic outpatient office in Fort Lauderdale, FL is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant for a full-time role with flexible scheduling and a patient volume of 2 patients per hour.
Responsibilities
- Carry out treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist
- Help patients complete strengthening, mobility, balance, and gait activities
- Support functional training for daily movement and return-to-activity goals
- Observe patient response and communicate updates to the PT
- Reinforce safe exercise technique and home program instructions
- Document treatment sessions accurately
- Prepare treatment areas and equipment
- Help create a positive patient experience during each visit
Requirements
- Florida PTA License required
- PTA Degree required
- Outpatient experience preferred
- New graduates are welcome to apply
- Comfortable working with orthopedic patients
- Organized and professional work style
