This Physical Therapist role gives you the opportunity to work in a modern outpatient orthopedic clinic with a steady mix of patients and treatment needs. You will help patients recover from injuries, manage musculoskeletal concerns, improve strength, and move more comfortably in their daily lives.
The clinic serves patients ages 11 to 90, so your caseload may include adolescents, active adults, post-surgical patients, and older adults working toward better mobility and function.
Clinic Snapshot
- Setting: Modern outpatient orthopedic clinic
- Main Caseload: Orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions
- Daily Patient Volume: 7–15 patients
- Weekly Clinic Volume: Approximately 160–190 patient visits
- Clinical Team: 2 Physical Therapists and 2 Physical Therapist Assistants
- EMR System: WebPT
- Patient Age Range: 11 to 90 years old
Schedule Preferences
The clinic offers flexibility and strongly prefers one of the following schedules:
Preferred Schedule: Four 10-Hour Days
- Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
- Tuesday off each week
Alternative Schedule: Monday–Friday
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
- Wednesday, Friday: 7:00 AM–4:00 PM

Responsibilities
- Perform patient evaluations and reassessments
- Identify patient goals, movement limitations, pain concerns, and functional needs
- Create treatment plans for orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions
- Provide therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, mobility training, balance work, and functional rehabilitation
- Support patients recovering from surgery, injury, weakness, or movement limitations
- Teach home exercise programs and safe movement strategies
- Monitor outcomes and adjust plans of care when appropriate
- Document patient care and progress in WebPT
Requirements
- Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program
- Active Missouri Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one
- New graduates are welcome to apply
- Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred
- Strong patient education, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to work with patients across different ages and mobility levels
