Led by one of LA's most respected neurologists, this practice is known for delivering compassionate, patient-centered neurologic care to a diverse patient population.</p> <p>The practice is growing - and this is an opportunity to join at a pivotal moment. The founding physician is looking for a PA who will become a trusted clinical partner, contribute meaningfully to patient care, and grow alongside the practice as it expands to additional locations over time.</p> <p>This is a role for a clinician who brings strong neurological expertise, a genuine passion for patient outcomes, and the drive to be part of something bigger than a single practice.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>The Mandate</strong></p> <p>The physician is looking for a Physician Assistant who is clinically sharp, deeply committed to patient care, and ready to hit the ground running in a neurology-focused environment.</p> <p>He is not looking for a generalist who will need significant ramp time on neurological conditions. He is not looking for someone content to stay in a lane indefinitely.</p> <p>He is seeking a neurology-fluent clinician who can work autonomously, communicate with clarity and empathy, and grow into an increasingly influential clinical role as the practice scales. Long-term, this PA will have the opportunity to be part of the physician's vision to open additional practice locations across the region.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Conduct comprehensive neurological evaluations, including patient history, physical and neurological exams, and diagnostic assessments</li> <li>Diagnose and manage a broad range of neurological conditions including headaches, migraines, Parkinson's disease, dementia, stroke, neuropathic pain, tremors, and brain injury</li> <li>Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising physician</li> <li>Order and interpret diagnostic studies</li> <li>Prescribe and manage medications, monitor patient responses, and adjust treatment as needed</li> <li>Provide patient and family education on neurological conditions, treatment options, and long-term management</li> <li>Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely clinical documentation in the EHR</li> <li>Collaborate closely with the supervising physician on complex cases and contribute to ongoing quality of care initiatives</li> <li>Participate in the long-term growth of the practice, including involvement in the development of new locations</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Ideal Profile</strong></p> <ul> <li>Current PA license in the state of California and NCCPA certification in good standing</li> <li>Strong neurology background - prior experience in a neurology practice, neurology department, or related specialty is required</li> <li>Clinical proficiency across common neurological conditions including headache, movement disorders, cognitive decline, stroke, and neuropathic pain</li> <li>Comfortable working autonomously in a fast-paced outpatient setting while maintaining a high standard of care</li> <li>Exceptional bedside manner with a patient-first mindset and the ability to communicate complex diagnoses with clarity and compassion</li> <li>Detail-oriented with strong documentation habits and EHR proficiency</li> <li>Collaborative by nature - eager to learn from and work closely with a highly experienced supervising physician</li> <li>Long-term thinker with an interest in contributing to practice growth and expansion over time</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Location &amp; Work Model</strong></p> <ul> <li>South Gate, Los Angeles, CA</li> <li>Full-time, on-site</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Compensation</strong></p> <ul> <li>Base salary: $140,000.00 - $225,000.00, commensurate with experience</li> <li>Bonus: To be discussed</li> </ul><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="title">Base Compensation Range</div><div class="pay-range"><span>$140,000</span><span class="divider">&mdash;</span><span>$225,000 USD</span></div></div></div><div class="content-conclusion"><p data-start="173" data-end="800"><strong data-start="173" data-end="225">Equal Opportunity &amp; Non-Discrimination Statement</strong><br data-start="225" data-end="228">Signal and Strand is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
