<p><strong>Position Overview:</strong><br>We are seeking an experienced Physician Recruiter (Contractor) who specializes in sourcing General Surgeons—this is a must-have requirement. Experience recruiting Vascular Surgeons and/or Interventional Radiologists is strongly preferred.</p>
<p>The ideal candidate is energized by the hunt, understands how to attract busy, in-demand physicians, and can manage outreach and early engagement with persistence and professionalism. You will be focused on building and managing a steady pipeline of top physician candidates across multiple markets.</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Proactively source and engage General Surgeons across targeted geographies.</li>
<li>Identify and engage Vascular Surgeons and Interventional Radiologists where applicable.</li>
<li>Utilize a variety of channels including cold outreach, databases, job boards, email campaigns, social media, and referrals.</li>
<li>Manage candidate flow and communications through tracking tools and weekly updates.</li>
<li>Screen candidates and assess alignment with UVVC’s clinical model and geographic needs.</li>
<li>Maintain organized and up-to-date candidate tracking and notes for team visibility.</li>
<li>Act as the first point of contact for physicians and represent UVVC with professionalism and credibility.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li><strong>Must have</strong> experience recruiting <strong>General Surgeons</strong>, including multiple (10+) <strong>General Surgeons</strong>, Vascular Surgeons, or <strong>Interventional Radiologists in one or more o</strong>f <strong>the following markets:</strong> New York (NY), New Jersey (NJ), Texas (TX), Florida (FL), Georgia (GA), and Arizona (AZ).</li>
<li>Strongly preferred: experience recruiting physicians for multiunit outpatient practices</li>
<li>Strongly preferred: experience sourcing <strong>Vascular Surgeons </strong>and/or <strong>Interventional Radiologists</strong>.</li>
<li>3+ years of physician recruiting experience, ideally in a high-volume or startup-like environment.</li>
<li>Must be comfortable with use of recruiting tools, including sourcing platforms (such as HireEZ, LinkedIn, PracticeMatch) and ATS (Greenhouse).</li>
<li>Highly skilled in cold outreach and persistent follow-up.</li>
<li>Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.</li>
<li>Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote setting.</li>
