Together, Moss and Bedrock create a holistic environment where members can move, restore, and connect in a refined, community-focused setting.</p></div><p><strong>Pickleball Instructor (Independent Contractor – 1099)</strong></p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>We are seeking an energetic, reliable, and passionate Pickleball Instructor to provide high-quality instruction for players of all ages and skill levels. The instructor will lead private lessons, group clinics, beginner programs, and specialty training sessions while creating a positive, engaging, and safe learning environment. This is an independent contractor (1099) position offering flexible scheduling and the opportunity to help grow the sport of pickleball within our community.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Teach private, semi-private, and group pickleball lessons.</li> <li>Conduct clinics, camps, and instructional programs for players of varying skill levels.</li> <li>Provide instruction on pickleball fundamentals, strategy, rules, sportsmanship, and match play.</li> <li>Create a fun, welcoming, and inclusive atmosphere for all participants.</li> <li>Demonstrate proper techniques, drills, and game strategies.</li> <li>Monitor player progress and provide constructive feedback.</li> <li>Ensure a safe playing environment and enforce court safety standards.</li> <li>Support special events, tournaments, and leagues</li> <li>Maintain professional communication with players and program staff.</li> <li>Set up and break down equipment before and after lessons and clinics.</li> <li>Promote participation and help retain players through exceptional customer service.</li> <li>Stay current with pickleball teaching methods, trends, and best practices.</li> </ul> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p> <ul> <li>Strong knowledge of pickleball rules, techniques, and game strategy.</li> <li>Previous coaching, teaching, or instructional experience preferred.</li> <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li> <li>Ability to work with players of all ages and abilities.</li> <li>Professional, dependable, and customer-service oriented.</li> <li>Current pickleball instructor certification preferred (PPR, IPTPA, PCI, or equivalent).</li> <li>CPR/First Aid certification preferred.</li> <li>Ability to demonstrate skills and remain active on court for extended periods.</li> </ul> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>Compensation and Classification</strong></p> <p>For time spent performing services, you will be paid <strong>50%</strong> commission for each personal training (1 on 1 session) performed.&nbsp; For any group fitness sessions, you shall be paid $60 per session performed.</p> <p><br><strong>Schedule</strong></p> <ul> <li>Flexible schedule based on lesson and clinic demand.</li> <li>Availability during evenings and weekends preferred.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Independent Contractor Status</strong></p> <p>This position is an <strong>Independent Contractor (1099)</strong> role.
